The basics of the scheme are the same as they have been since we started it. We want people to nominate their colleagues if they believe that they demonstrate or embody one of our core values which are:-

All nominations are welcome, whether it's for an individual or for a team (of up to 10 people). Anyone who supports us in delivering our objectives − from employees of Land Securities group to service partners, consultants and service providers − can be nominated. The important thing is that whenever you make that nomination, you indicate clearly which value they have demonstrated and you give us as much information as you can on why they deserve to win.
The process − what happens when
Every quarter an employee assessment panel (made up of previous Values into Action winners and their nominator(s)) gets together to decide our quarterly winners.
At the end of the year they will go through to the annual final of the Values into Action awards where one winner will be chosen for each category. Six major awards are made for an Annual Values into Action Award; one individual award for each value and a team award. The annual judging session takes place prior to the announcement of the awards. The panel consists of the Group Chief Executive, another representative of the senior management board and at least four other Senior Executives from across our business. Each entry is measured against the value behaviours for the relevant core value and the impact that the nomination has on the business.

The prizes - they're not just for winners but for taking part too
Everyone who participates in Values into Action will be recognised and rewarded. All those nominated (individuals and each team member for a team award) receive a Values into Action nomination award in an elegant elegant photo frame and personally addressed certificate signed by the Chief Executive Officer.
Individuals who become quarterly winners will also receive a Tiffany gift of their choice. Team winners will each receive a unique limited edition paper weight. All of these gifts are presented at a Values into Action lunch hosted by two members of the Senior Management Board.
We would also like to thank the nominators, as this programme would be nothing without them. So all nominators receive a personalised email thanking them for their time and effort. If their nominee ultimately becomes a quarterly winner, nominators will be invited to the judging session, the special Values into Action lunch and invited to the annual dinner.
Of course, there are the ultimate prizes for the overall winners, £1500 of travel vouchers for the winner of each value and a £1500 travel voucher is also awarded to the team winners, to be split between the number of people comprising of the team. And in the coming months we will be reporting back about how much our winners enjoyed them!
